How long does it usually take to restart your period after you stop taking birth control pills?

I have been taking some form of birth control since I had my first child which was 9 years ago. I have been taking the pill about 8 of those 9 years. I recently stopped taking the pill for good, the end of January, and I havent seen a period since. I stopped taking them because I was getting a period about every 2 wks for some reason. I also wanted to give my body a break, but I thought for sure I would be seeing a normal period by now.

I just got a pack of birth control pills but i don’t know when is it that I have to start taking them.. As well when I start using them does that mean I can have *** any day I want and I won’t get pregnant?

im currently using the shot but my dr said i have to change birth control because its not recomended to be on it for more than 2 years. i thought about the IUD but still not sure what i should do. if you have any sugestions it will help a lot!

If i happened to glance someones open purse and right on top was a rectangular white flat box with maybe 10 to 12 openings… that you can pop something out of.is this birth control pills.
5 CommentsIt had a bar code but no discernable writing on it. I wasnt going to rumage thru this persons purse. I dont know what girls products are for periods and such and it may be important to know whether or not these are birth control pills and if not what are they..

I get really bad nausea when I take the pill, but i heard you can take anti-nausea pills before taking the pill. What is it called? or anyone have any tips on nausea and birth control pills…
I think i need to clarify more…i want to know the types of pills used for sea sickness/motion sickness that are effective for nausea from birth control pills, or i want to know if that even works.

I have been having issues with birth control and weight gain over the last year, and have went from 130 lbs to 175!!! I am married, but I need to stay on birth control until I am finished with college. So, does anyone know of a brand of birth control that will not cause weight gain????? HELP PLEASE!!!

what happens if you miss a birth control pill but take it within 8 hours of missing it?

I usually take my birth control pill, Lutera, at 11 pm. However, I fell asleep and forgot to take it. I ended up taking it at 6:30 am the next morning. Then I just started taking my pills in the morning. Am I still covered?
